Have the greenest, lushest yard around. Our top dressing is rich in organic matter, humic acid, and microbes, providing essential nutrients for healthier, thicker turf growth. Reduce the need for synthetics and watering while being happy to be outside on your lawn!
Soil amending is a process done before landscape is installed, striving to get to 5% organic matter. It strengthens natural soil functions and reduces wasted resources. UF studies have showed up to 75% reduction in water usage. Great for new development!
A process using hollow tines to pull small plugs of soil allowing COMAND to be introduced into the existing soil, which relieves compaction, improves air, water, and nutrient flow, leading to deeper root growth and healthier thicker grass.
Lawn leveling fixes bumpy, uneven turf to create a smooth, safe, and beautiful surface for your yard. This process involves top-dressing the lawn with a balanced 50% sand and 50% COMAND blend, carefully applied across the surface. Additional material is added to low spots to even out depressions, promote healthy grass growth, and restore a consistent, level finish.

Sand to Soil was created in response to growing environmental pressures on our land and water. In highly sensitive ecosystems like Florida, traditional land development practices damage soil health, increase pollution, and drive excessive water and fertilizer use. We provide eco-friendly, sustainable solutions that restore soil function and support healthy, resilient landscapes.
Conventional development strips away nutrient-rich topsoil and replaces it with compacted sandy subsoil that cannot retain water, nutrients, or beneficial microbes. As a result, landscapes struggle to establish deep root systems, require frequent irrigation and fertilizer, and generate increased runoff that carries pollutants into our rivers, lakes, and wetlands.
With Florida’s population continuing to grow, water demand is rapidly exceeding supply. Today, more than half of all potable water is used for residential irrigation, and future shortages are projected to be severe. Addressing this crisis requires rethinking how we build and care for our soils.
Healthy soil is a living system that absorbs and stores water, filters pollutants, supports plant growth, and protects watersheds. When these functions are lost during construction, they can take decades to recover without intentional soil restoration.
